Water Preserver is a safe and easy-to-use solution for personal emergency water. Adding a bottle of Water Preserver to a 55-gallon approved water-storage drum provides you with storage for up to five (5) years! This Water Preserver Concentrate is recommended by top emergency professionals and is registered and licensed by the federal and state EPA.  It treats us to 55 gallons of water.  Water Preserver Concentrate is a proprietary formula of stabilized, pH-balanced Sodium Hypochlorite with a highly effective residual action that kills bacteria, viruses, molds, and fungus.  Directions for use are enclosed with each bottle. For use with new and unused, blow molded, rigid, all plastic containers, made of virgin polyethylene resin. Perfect for use with our 30 and 55 gallon water storage barrels.

Water, a fundamental requirement for survival, gains heightened importance during emergencies. The Water Preserver Concentrate is tailor-made to extend the shelf life of stored water, providing a reliable source in times of crisis.

Investing in emergency water storage is proactive, but without proper preservation, that investment might be in vain. The Water Preserver Concentrate acts as a shield, inhibiting bacterial growth and contamination, ensuring stored water remains safe for consumption.

    FEATURES:

    Prolonged Effectiveness

This concentrate boasts an unparalleled formula, ensuring the longevity of stored water. Unlike alternatives, it guarantees a prolonged shelf life, minimizing the need for frequent water rotation.

    User-Friendly Application

Application is a breeze. With a straightforward dosage guide, anyone can treat their water supply efficiently. No complex procedures or special equipment required, making it an accessible solution for all.

    HOW IT WORKS:

    Formulation Insights

The Water Preserver Concentrate operates by releasing a controlled amount of sodium hypochlorite into the water, effectively disinfecting it. This process eliminates harmful microorganisms, ensuring the water is safe for consumption over an extended period.

    INSTRUCTIONS:

To ensure optimal results, adhere to the following step-by-step instructions:

    Follow Steps 1-7 Below:

    1. Read the Bottle Label: Carefully read the bottle label, ensuring not to get the Concentrate on your skin or clothing.

    2. Check Expiration Date: Verify the "use by" date (EXP MO/YR) on the bottom of the bottle. Do not use Concentrate after the expiration date.

    3. Rinse Storage Container: Rinse out the storage container with visibly clear tap water.

    4. Remove Safety Seal: Remove the safety seal from the Water Preserver™ cap. Do not use if the safety seal is broken or missing.

    5. Adding Concentrate for 55-Gallon Drums: a) Carefully remove the Water Preserver™ dropper tip by pushing it sideways. b) Empty the entire contents of a 0.73 oz. (22 ml) bottle of Water Preserver™ into the storage drum. c) Fill the drum with visibly clear tap water to 1-3 inches below the opening. d) Close the drum tightly (do not hand tighten plugs, use a bung wrench). e) The five-year storage begins when Water Preserver™ concentrate is added to water.

    6. Invert or Tip Container: After closing the container, invert or tip it several times to wet all inside surfaces, if practical.

    7. Date and Note: Write the date of water preparation on the outside of the container and make a note to empty the container and retreat water five years after the date of preparation.

    ADDITIONAL STORAGE AND DISPOSAL GUIDANCE:

    Product Storage

Store the concentrate in a cool, dry area, away from direct sunlight and heat to avoid deterioration. In case of a spill, flood the area with large quantities of water.

    Product Disposal

Unused product that cannot be used must be diluted with water before disposal in a sanitary sewer.

    Container Handling

Dispose of the non-refillable container properly. Do not reuse or refill the container. Offer it for recycling if available or place it in the trash.

    Things To Remember:

    • All closures, caps, or threaded plugs must prevent leakage and form an airtight seal.
    • Containers with a "UN" mark assure extreme condition compliance and provide UV light protection for the life of the container. UN containers are safe for storage indoors or outdoors.

Water, Water There When I Need It

Posted by Don Anderson on 05-03-2018

EmergencyKits.com provided great service and the Water Preserver was exactly what I needed. I ordered and picked up the Water Preserver about an hour later. One less concern in an emergency. I now have 110 gallons of water ready for the next disaster/emergency.
